Alma "Joy" Baugus, 77, of Wetumka, Oklahoma, passed away on February 19, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on October 2, 1947, in Purcell, Oklahoma.

Joy was married to Frank Baugus and together they had five children. She was a woman of many passions, enjoying sewing, painting, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Joy took great pride in her beautiful yard and cherished the time she spent working in it.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Jo Gilbreath; her father, Milton D. Dewbre; her son, Sammie Lee Hulin Jr.; and two sisters, Velma Gilbreath and Joetta Brown.

Joy is survived by her loving husband, Frank Baugus; her children, Dusti Wilkerson and John, Dewayne Baugus and Ildi, Jeff Baugus and Kay, Lisa Gonzalez and Manuel; her three sisters, Jodi Wynn, Marie Sensibough, and Mary Lou Bussing; and her sister-in-love, Brenda Krausee. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tiffany Caldwell and Cody, Brittany Allen and Ty, Stetson Wilkerson, Aaron Hulin and Kristin, Amanda Shannon and Kenny, Megan Salisbury and Drew, Madison Hulin, Chris Evans, Jordan Evans, Ashley Devary and Ben, and Shane Kays. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Brooklynn, Lexi, Maverick, Nash, Baylee, Jaydon, Landon, Gracelynn, Jackson, and Kealan, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
