Barbara Bungardt Reinhart died on May 10, 2019 at the age of 78. Born in Oklahoma City, OK, she was the daughter on Dr. Alfred H. and Pauline Bungardt of Tulsa who preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Holland Hall High School. She received a BA and an MA degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Oklahoma where she was a member of Tri Delta Sorority. During her professional career, she was an award-winning writer and editor in corporate and non-profit public affairs.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Byron (Kim) Hatcher, of Florida, a son, John Reinhart, and a grandson, Zachary Reinhart, both of Orlando, FL.

She was a long-time parishioner of St. John's Episcopal Church where she was a member of the Altar Guild, Community of Hope and Daughters of the King. She served on the Executive Board of the Tulsa County Republican Women's Club and was a member of the Oklahoma State First Ladies and the Oklahoma Federation of Republican Women. Because she spent many years as a volunteer in the Pastoral Care Department at St. John Medical Center, it is requested that memorial donations be made to the Medical Center in lieu of flowers.
