Bryan Lee Wilson was born in Pittsburg, Kansas to loving parents Jane and Bryan Wilson on February 13, 1931. He passed from this life at Zarrow Pointe on November 17, 2019. He is survived by his daughter Diane Wilson Martin and her husband Gene of Tulsa; son Jeff Wilson and daughter-in-law, Paula Gelnar Wilson of Rogers, Arkansas; grandson Devin Wilson, his wife Sage Gasmen Wilson and great-granddaughter Cora of Bella Vista, Arkansas; granddaughter, Kelsey Wilson Tangney and her husband Brandon of Edmond, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Barbara McLeod; nieces, Carolyn Winter, Karen Wilson Howard, Kathy Wilson Schultz, Laura Winter, Lisa Winter Hayes, Nancy Winter; and nephew Jim Wilson.

Bryan graduated from Girard, Kansas High School in 1949 and the University of Kansas in 1954 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Rock Chalk, Jayhawk was obviously a frequent chant of his! He served in the U.S. Navy for two years beginning in June 1954 and was honorably discharged. His civilian career spanned 40+ years with Rockwell International, which is now part of The Boeing Company. Among his remarkable work were contributions with the design and manufacture of the Rockwell B-1 Lancer and the Space Shuttle orbiters Enterprise, Columbia, Challenger, Discovery, Atlantis and Endeavour.

Bryan was a Methodist all of his life, a member of the Boston Avenue United Methodist Church for 38 years, and a member of the Homebuilders Sunday School Class. His interests included radio-control aircraft, KU sports and the Dallas Cowboys.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Bryan or to the Assistance League of Tulsa in memory of Mary Lee & Bryan Wilson. Most important of all, he will forever be remembered as a devoted husband, much-beloved father, uncle, father-in-law, grandfather and friend.
