On Thursday afternoon, October 1st, 2020, Carol Nimmo, passed away at the age of 75 at St John Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Born September 24th, 1945 in Fairfax, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Raymond Carl Ellis and Ruby Lee Johnson. After graduating from Marland High School in 1963 she went to work as a nurse aid in Ponca City Nursing Home where she met her husband. Tom and Carol were married in Ponca City in 1964. She was a loving mother to a daughter and two sons. Carol later spent time as a nurse at St Francis Hospital, a job well suited to her caring nature. She then spent many years working with her husband in their various businesses while raising their family. After her children were grown she worked in customer service until she retired in Tulsa from Avis.

Carol is survived by her husband of 56 years, Tom; daughter Jennifer; sons Todd and Danny; brother Larry Ellis; and three grandchildren Lauren, Rachel and Nathan who brought her much joy. Those close to her observed how she honored God with her actions and words. They remember her sincere smile and what a loving and kind person she was.
