Carol Ann Robinson Carol Ann Robinson (86) peacefully passed away from this life on February 18th, 2024. She was born on August 7th, 1937, in Anderson, MO, and grew up in Tulsa as the only child of her parents John D. and Viola B. Martin. A graduate of Will Rogers High, she started college at the University of Oklahoma before transferring and graduating from the University of Tulsa with a bachelor's degree in education. She was a member of Delta Gamma sorority and remained very involved as an alumnus. She taught elementary school for a few years until their first child was born, at which time she shifted to full-time mom, a role she relished until the last of the four surviving children left for college. A devout Catholic she then took a position with the Diocese of Tulsa in the office of religious education and served the Chancery for 36 years. While with the Diocese of Tulsa, she earned a master's degree in religious education from Loyola University. She retired in 2014 and enjoyed the benefits of being the doting Grammy. She is survived by her four children John Jr. (Linda) Robinson of Bloomer, WI; Lisa (Art) Bright, Donna (Kevin) Papen; and Michael (Tracey) Robinson all of the Tulsa area. Also survived by her grandchildren: John III and Sean Robinson; Alyssa and Tyler Papen; Matt, Cory, and Jacob Bright; Allie Gibson; Mackenzie and Sydney Robinson; and great-grandchildren Mariel Robinson, Blair Papen, Jayden Andrews, Chandler and Brooks Bright.
