Claudine Willis passed from this life on January 20, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 96.
She was born Claudine Bundy on November 21, 1924 in Stratford, Oklahoma to Bert and Mary (Brown) Bundy. She was one of five children and spent most of her childhood in Holdenville. She attended Moss Country School where she played on the basketball team. She met the love of her life Kenny Willis and they started dating in 1940. Claudine graduated from Moss High School in 1941 and on May 2, 1942 her and Kenny were married. After Kenny returned home from war they moved to Tulsa and settled in the Carbondale neighborhood. She had three children Bobby, Carol, and Claudia. In 1971, they moved to her dream home on 160 acres in Holdenville.
Claudine loved to travel and enjoyed being active in her community. One of her favorite activities was leading the Bible study at the East Main Church of Christ. She was a member of many social clubs to include the Garden Club, Mothers Club of Holdenville, and the Business Professional Women's Club serving as President of all three.
Claudine was preceded in death by the love of her life, Kenny; her parents, Bert and Mary Bundy; and her siblings, Alva, Velma, AC, and Alene. She is survived by her children Bob Willis and wife Susan of Claremore, OK, Carol Willis Moore and husband Mike of Tulsa, OK, and Claudia Willis Wohlford and husband Randy of Euless, TX; grandchildren, Stacy Willis Prince and husband Rob of Oklahoma City, OK, Tyler Willis and wife Karen of Bethel Heights, AR, Brad Moore of Tulsa, OK, Marcy Moore Wilson and husband Greg of Tulsa, OK, Katelyn Wohlford Battaglia and husband Michael of Dallas, TX, and Jake Wohlford of Dallas, TX; great-grandchildren Lindsay Prince of Oklahoma City, OK, Whitney Moore Kendall and husband Justin of Tulsa, OK, Hannah Moore of Broken Arrow, OK, Addison Powers of Tulsa, OK, Zack Powers of Tulsa, OK, Ethan Wilson of Tulsa, OK and soon to be baby boy Battaglia; and dear family friend, Charlene Dudley of Broken Arrow, OK.
