Dami's parents moved to Norman, OK when he was young, and while there he became a lifelong fan of Oklahoma University football during the national championship years of 1974 and 75.  The family later moved to Bartlesville, OK where Dami grew up and graduated with the Bartlesville High School class of 1989.  While in high school, Dami was a promising athlete in cross country running with hopes of a scholarship to OU, but was forced to give up this sport in his senior year due to an illness that would lead to the cancer in later years.

Dami did however, attend OU for a period before returning to Bartlesville where he worked in retail sales positions for Sears, Dillards and Aaron's Rent-A-Center before working at Component Manufacturing Co in Dewey where he met the love of his life, Colette Hale.  They were married in Bartlesville in 2002.

Dami became a father to Colette's two children from her previous marriage and the family continued to live in Bartlesville for a few years before moving to Tulsa where Dami joined his brother-in-law installing electronic security gates throughout northeastern Oklahoma and surrounding states.  Dami later became a "cable guy" for Cox Communications for several years, but then returned to the security business where he was working until forced to take disability retirement due to his illness.

Dami is survived by his wife Colette of the home in Bixby, his daughter Chelsea Fisher (John) of Inola and son Jeremie Tuller (Miranda) of Pawhuska; his father Fred Morris (Jamie) of Bentonville, AR; sisters Wendy Stamp (John) of Broken Arrow and Monique (Nicki) Everhart (Jon) of Arvada, CO;  brothers Michael Morris of Hot Springs, AR and Shawn Pekas (Lindsey) of Thornton, CO; four grandchildren and a large number of cousins, aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his father Loren in 2004 and his mother Jocelyn in 2015.
