David "Brent" Stice, aka "Crazyhorse or Hollywood," age 71, of Tulsa, OK strutted into the gates of heaven on April 1, 2019.

Brent Stice was a larger than life personality, yet he remained humble and kind with the biggest caring and loving heart.  He was easy going and laid back and would do anything in the world for his family and friends.  He was a son, brother, and father, uncle, grandfather, friend, mentor, and role model.  But his favorite role was being a father and grandfather.  He was always ready to brag about his kids and grandkids; and tell everyone about their talents and accomplishments.

He would light up the room the moment he walked in with his charming smile and cool personality.  He always had a great story to tell and was a phenomenal story teller; making you feel like you were right there in that moment with him.  He would always look you directly in the eye when speaking with you.  And he would always greet you with a smile from ear to ear.

In his later years, he returned to his one true love, Music.  Music was the essence of his soul.  Brent was a talented and soulful musician.  He could hear a song and immediately play the piano or guitar; and within seconds he would give you the best front row seat to his own personal concert.  He started playing around Tulsa, hosting open mikes with Crazyhorse.  Anytime he performed, you would get to hear amazing music, along with a short story or history lesson about the song or artist.   You could find him at the Blue Rose cafe, Crow Creek Tavern, Bourbon Street, and the local VFW.  He even performed on stage at the Tulsa Blues Festival.  Music brought many people into his life and he was always happy to spread and share his love of music with everyone he knew.  He was living the dream, playing his music, letting his long hair flow, cruising on his Harley, and playing by his rules.

He surely is unforgettable, and can never be forgotten.  The world will be a little less colorful in his absence.  And we all know that when God called him home, he went strutting right through those gates of heaven.

What a legacy he has left to all his family and friends.  Semper Fi & Stay Gold.

He is survived by parents, Bob & Raye Stice.  Brother, Steve Stice.  Daughter Amy Herring & husband Stephen.  Daughter Betsy Stice and fiancé Dee Orbeck.  Son, Hunter Quimby.  Grandchildren, Ashley, Hunter, & Brody Herring.  Fur Grandchildren, Lucy, Sarge, and Lady.  Niece, Meagan Blair and husband Russell.  And many great nieces, cousins, and more.

Services will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019 at the First Baptist Church, downtown Tulsa at 2pm, officiated by Pastor John Plum.
