Demetria "Mesha" Ann Stephens was born December 17, 1968.  She was born to Linda Jones in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Mesha was the oldest child of 3 born from Linda Jones.   Mesha was an avid OU fan and had many screaming calls with her mom about how the game was going.  Her favorite saying was, "You Know."  She worked at Farmers Insurance for 10+ years.

On Tuesday, January 18, 2022, Mesha made her transition to her new home.  Mesha was proceeded in death by her maternal grandparents, Booker T. and Mabel Barnett Jones.

She leaves to continue her legacy, her mother Linda Jones, one daughter DaNisha Bynum married and loved by Jacob Bynum , two siblings, Lance Stephens, and Danielle Stephens.  Two nieces and one nephew, Jaleesa Stephens, Chris Bates, and JaNea Stephens.  There were a few step-up dads that she loved throughout her life, Robert Frazier, and Marvin Cooper. Aunts, Uncles, cousins, friends all who know and love her.
