Diana Marjorie Dodson Gilliland also known as "Grammy" passed from this life on June 19, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 79.  She was born on January 9, 1940 in Glendale, California.

Early in life, Diana lived in Wyoming with her mother Leila Dodson and her siblings, Mike and Patricia. She was a member of the choir and enjoyed competitive roller skating.  Diana was a lover of many things including interior decorating and painting, just to mention a few. She was an excellent cook and loved her many pets.  She loved old westerns and was a true news junkie.  Her kids often told her to "Stop watching, Mother."  Diana also played golf, bridge and enjoyed snow skiing with friends and family.

After moving to Tulsa, she met Richard Gilliland and traveled with him on many business trips while raising their kids Travis, Angela and Richard, Jr. or "Butch."  Later in life, Diana remembered her passion for nursing and worked as a private duty nurse caring for many elderly people. In the end, severe arthritis set in and her loving son, Butch, was her caretaker.

Diana lived a quiet life and peacefully passed after a recent heart attack.  She will be missed dearly by her grandkids, Charlie and Marjorie Green, and many friends and extended family
