Obituary

Diane Lynn (Lissau) Davis passed away peacefully on November 6, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 45.  She was born on January 4, 1973 in Kansas City, Kansas to William and Ann Lissau.  Diane aka "Dee" was the brightest light, and creative beyond belief.  It is only fitting that she not have a traditional obituary. As much as we could boast about the amazing footprint she made, Dee would want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of us that touched her life during her 45 year journey. Dee was so grateful to all those who cared for her; taught her life lessons; pushed her to follow her dreams; laughed and cried with her; and those that loved her unconditionally.  Dee would want her family and friends to keep living as she lived - sing like no one else is listening, share your God given talents with others, give until you have nothing left to give, be true to yourself, love hard, laugh often and live each day as if it were your last. Our countless memories become stories that we will continue to share until we see her again. Though we will never be the same, our lives were changed for the better because of Dee.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Evelyn Lissau, Hobart and Dorothy Dickson, and Regina Dickson; great uncle, Joe McNulty; and father in law, Billy W. Davis.  Dee is survived by her husband, Jeff Davis; children, Corbin and Callie; parents, William and Ann Lissau; sister, Lori McNulty and husband Terrence; brother Bill Lissau and wife Monica; brother Mike Lissau and wife Wendy; all her nieces and nephews, Andrew, Nick, Morgan and T.J. McNulty; Zack, Jonathan and Lauren Lissau; Peyton, Michael, Matthew and Jake Lissau; and numerous other family members and friends.
A Rosary will be held at 7PM Monday, November 12, 2018 and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12PM Tuesday, November 13, 2018, both at the Church of Saint Mary.  In lieu of flowers, Dee's family requests memorial donations be made in her honor to either Make-A-Wish-Oklahoma or the Oklahoma Animal Alliance Pawsitively Pits Program.
