Donald Dean Lee was born in Sycamore, Kansas on August 22, 1931 to Charles B. and Bertha G. Lee, he was the youngest of five boys. Don graduated from Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville, Kansas where he played football and ran track. He worked for Phillips Petroleum Company for 32 years, in several states, and retired from Phillips in 1986 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Moved to Tulsa in 1990; last residence in University Village. Member of Holy Family Cathedral Church.

Don was married to Dixie Grimes, March 12, 1951. Don and Dixie have three sons, Jimmy of Montgomery, Texas, Johnny of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Jerry (deceased). Don was loved by all and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Don is survived by his wife, two sons, eight grandchildren (Matthew, Krissie, Kelli, Michael, Patrick, Megan, Daniel, Murphy) and ten great-grandchildren (Kylie, Madison, Caden, Jordan, Lily, Jackson, Jameson, Warren, Harrison, Margo), numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
