Earl Ross Freeman, known fondly as Ross, passed away on April 27, 2025. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jane Ann Freeman; his parents, Earl Rosco and Leno Samantha (known as Dixie); and his sister Pat and her husband, O.E. Jones.
Ross is survived by his sons and their families, who will continue to cherish his legacy. His eldest son, Ross Jr., and his wife Jessica, along with their children Alexis, Vanessa, Brad, and Jadan; his middle son, Chris, and his wife Blis, with their children Lawson, Hadley, and Sutton, who is soon to graduate from OU; and his youngest son, Brett, and his wife Brandy, with their sons Phoenix, Edison, and Jantzen.
Ross dedicated his career to Texaco, forging lasting friendships and making an unforgettable impact on those who had the pleasure of knowing him. His warmth and charisma touched countless lives, creating stories and memories that will live on. He loved his family deeply, embracing not only his immediate relatives but also his extended family and his sons' friends. Some of his fondest moments were spent by the pool, sharing drinks and spinning tales that could captivate anyone fortunate enough to listen.
His legacy is one of love, laughter, and a life well lived. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Services will be held at Asbury Church (6767 S Mingo Rd, Tulsa, OK) on Thursday, May 8th at 2:00pm with Dad's favorite meal being served afterwards. Come an attend, enjoy and tell your favorite stories.
