Eddieson "Eddie" Kapiolani Taeoalii passed from this life to eternal life on July 8, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Barbie Taeoalii; children, Trison Kihewa-Taeoalii, Jayden Taeoalii, Megan Herman; grandson, Brantley Miller; mother, Sophia Paisa; grandmother, Vatapu'ia Sauvao, brothers, Andrew Napihaa, Michael Napihaa; sister, Chantal Vaimoana Molina; many aunts, uncles, cousins other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, George Toimoana and his grandfather, Toimoana Sauvao.

Eddieson deployed to Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan and Fort Bliss in El Paso Texas while he served in the United States Army. He was very respected leader and a brave soldier. His soldiers have many stories they tell fondly. Eddieson loved being a father and played like a child himself. He enjoyed shooting pool, singing karaoke and playing rugby. He was a member of the Tulsa Rugby Club and made quite a reputation for himself in the game. His laugh, crazy dancing, and ability to make friends will be sorely missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6PM, Friday July 23, at the Rugby Field at 37th & Riverside.  Everyone who knew Eddie is invited. We are roasting a pig and will have karaoke, which he would've loved. Everyone please bring a chair if you'll want to sit.
