Geraldine (Gerrie) Louise Roberts Wellhousen Porter went to be with the Lord March 2nd, 2018 at age 96. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Hubert Porter, Sr. and parents Homer and Helen Wellhousen. She is survived by son, Hubert Porter, Jr. & wife Darlene of Jenks; son Gary Porter and wife Shelley of Leander, Texas; daughter, Marcia Picanzo of Pegram, Tennessee; brother Jack Wellhousen and wife Kathy; grandchildren Jason and Jessica Picanzo, Addison and CJ Snyder and Reed and Robert Buettner; great grandchildren Andi Picanzo, Ezra and Wren Snyder, Jenna and Stephen Buettner and Ashley Pitts.

Gerrie was a native of Tulsa, but spent 14 years in Hobbs, New Mexico, where she was a licensed real estate broker and building contractor. She and Hubert owned Porter Realty and Construction Co. She was also a real estate broker in Tulsa, and was associated with L&S Properties and Porter Realty in Tulsa.  She was a member of the American Business Women's Association and was voted Woman of the year in 1976.

She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Tulsa, and was its last surviving charter member.  Gerrie lived at Oklahoma Methodist Manor since 1992 and loved to travel. She enjoyed 30 sea cruises and many bus trips. Visitation will be at the Stanley Funeral Home on Sunday, March 4th, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Private burial will occur at Memorial Park Cemetery.
