Obituary

After a protracted battle with cancer, Gloria Dawn Glidden died on February 7, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 67. She leaves behind her Husband Greg Glidden, and her Sons and Daughter, Chris, Rachel, and David.

Gloria was born on December 24, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Father Charles Albert Zickefoose and Mother Carleen Lawmaster Zickefoose, who predeceased her. She and her brother Rick were baptized on
April 25, 1965. She wrote it in her Bible. She grew up in a loving family with one sister and two brothers.

Gloria married Greg Glidden on August 22, 1975. The couple resided in Tulsa Oklahoma for all of their married life. They reared three incredible, wonderful children. Chris, Rachel, and David.

Gloria struggled with cancer for 35 years, First Ovarian, then Colon, then Thyroid, and finally, Pancreatic. She beat them all until this last. Through all her years of struggle one would never have even known that she was ill. She was strong, and resolute, She refused to ever let her problems interfere.

Gloria was a strong, driven professional. She excelled in the field of commercial real estate. In fact, she was one of the first women in the field. She was well known and respected by all her colleagues and clients. She always strove to "just do the right thing" as she put it.

Gloria loved God and her Family more than anything else and was always willing to help anyone, any way she could.

Gloria was an incredible cook. She owned a successful restaurant for a few years, until ill health forced her to give it up.

Gloria was predeceased by her
Father Charles in 1977,
Mother Carleen in 2001,
Nephew, Rowdy, (son of Rick), in 2007,
Niece, Jennifer, (daughter of Cheryl and Darrel) in 2010,
and her much beloved Grandson Bryce in 2014.

Gloria is survived by her Husband Greg and their three Children:

Son: Chris Glidden. His family, Grandson Christian Glidden with Josie,
and Granddaughter Allison Glidden.
Daughter: Rachel Louvier, her Husband Jason Louvier, and their
Sons Lucien and Vance Louvier.

Son: David Glidden, his wife Rachael Glidden and their
Daughter Shanna Glidden.

Gloria is also survived by:

Her Sister Cheryl Schoolfield and husband Darrel Schoolfield and
their son Ryan and Angie Schoolfield, and their children.

Her Brother Charles and Debbie Zickefoose and
Daughter Jamie and family.

Her Nephew, (son of Rick), Ryan and Kamie Zickefoose and family.

Her much beloved Cousin Suzie and her Husband Ray and their family.
