Gregory Wayne
Boswell
Nov 5, 1982 — Oct 21, 2021
Tulsa
Gregory Wayne Boswell, 38, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, October 21, 2021. Born in Riverside, California on November 5, 1982, to Robert S. Boswell and Gale L. (Voightlander) Boswell, Gregory grew up alongside two brothers. He lived most of his life in Nebraska, where he attended Cozad High School. Gregory worked in the transportation industry as a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed traveling across the states, being on the road, and visiting with fellow truck drivers. In 2016, he made the decision to move from Kearney, Nebraska to Tulsa, Oklahoma with his loving wife, Marlo and daughter, Sophia.
Gregory was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, and friend. He was incredibly generous and always willing to help anyone in need, sometimes even a stranger. He was an avid storyteller and enjoyed being the life of the party regardless of whether he knew anyone there or not. Gregory loved to camp and spend time in nature, especially with his family and friends, whenever he had the free time to do so. This is where he was most at peace. Moreover, Gregory enjoyed bowling and was always looking for the next adventure that may come his way.
Gregory had a gift for finding joy where others overlooked it, and because of this he left a little extra light behind for those that loved and cherished him. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Gregory was preceded in death by his father, Robert, and brother Robert S. Boswell II. He is survived by his wife and love of his life, Marlo (Kussman) Boswell, and their daughter, Sophia Boswell; stepchildren, Raef and Cora Lacy; mother, Gale L. (Voightlander) Boswell; brother, Thomas (Sarah) Boswell, several loving cousins, and aunts, as well as many caring friends he truly considered family.
A come and go visitation will be held Friday, October 29, 2021, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM, following a chapel service in Stanleys Grand Chapel to remember and celebrate Gregory's life, beginning at 1:00PM. After services, there will be a catered reception to follow in the Club Room at Stanleys Funeral Home from 1:30PM-3:30PM.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to the family for Sophia's future endeavors.
