Gregory Robert Parker

Gregory Robert Parker, 57, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026. He is now at peace, free from the heavy earthly burdens he carried with such grace. Greg was truly one of a kind, blessed with a pure, forgiving soul and an infectious smile that could light up any room and instantly lift the spirits of those around him.

Born on April 9, 1969, Greg faced a lifetime of unique and difficult challenges stemming from Prader-Willi syndrome. Though this condition tested his strength every day, it never defined the depth of his heart. Greg's life was defined instead by what he loved: his family, his friends, his staff, and the simple joys of the world around him.

Some of Gregory's happiest moments were spent surrounded by family. He cherished trips to the cabin on Grand Lake, lively family gatherings, and Sunday dinners. At every event, he demonstrated his genuine thoughtfulness and always asked for updates on the family. Greg also had a deep affection and a magical connection with all types of animals, taking a genuine interest in everyone's pets. An enthusiastic bowler, he proudly competed in the Oklahoma Special Olympics. He held a lifelong fondness for cool cars and was rarely seen without a favorite baseball cap from his collection.

Blessed with an incredible memory in all parts of life, Gregory never forgot a thing. He loved watching all types of movies, especially scary ones, and could easily recall the smallest details, from character names to the exact color of cars.

In this life, those who knew him best know that his uniqueness was his greatest gift to the world. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him, but his family takes great comfort in knowing he is at peace and perfectly understood.

Greg was preceded in death by his father, Bob Parker. He is survived by his loving mother, Margaret Parker; his aunts, Leslee Elzo and Judy Parker Dukes; his uncle, Dan Parker; his brother, Eric Parker and his wife Stephanie; his sisters, Michelle Parker Bishop and her husband Ross, and Jennifer Parker Frazier and her husband Scott; along with numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

A memorial fund has been established in honor of Greg through the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association.
