Jacqueline (Oldham) Shupe was born November 17, 1926 in Oklahoma City to Fred and Ella (Vollers) Jeffries. She later became part of the blended family of Laurie P. and Ella Oldham. Jacque passed from this life Friday, March 12, 2021 at the age of 94.
Jacque was a 1944 graduate of Classen High School and a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority at Oklahoma State University. While working at General Mills Jacque met and married Neal Warren Shupe, March 25, 1948. The couple moved their family to Tulsa in 1961. In addition to raising three sons Jacque taught Sunday school at First United Methodist Church, taught Decorative Painting at Rathbone's Flair Flowers, volunteered and later retired as an appointment secretary with Children's Medical Center and finally was a longtime volunteer for EIS (Emergency Infant Services).
Jacque was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 48 years, Neal; son, Paul; grandson, Ryan; brother and sister-in-law, Laurie P. Oldham Jr. and Ingrid Oldham; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Dave Murray; sister, Jeanne McCarthy.
She is survived by sons, Tom (Diane) Shupe, Grove, OK, Mark (Julia) Shupe, Tulsa, OK; stepson, Neal (Velma) Shupe of Fort Mohave, AZ; granddaughters, Kirsten Shupe, Jill (Justin) McCollum of Tulsa and Caitlin Baum of Lebanon, MO; grandsons, Kevin Shupe of Tulsa and Justin (Annaz) Sprinkle of Broken Arrow, OK.; great grandchildren, Ryan of Tulsa, Aiden and Ashlin of Lebanon, MO., Jordan and Katy of Broken Arrow, OK.
A private family service will be held at a later date. A special thank you to the staffs at Burgundy Place, University Village and the doctors, nurses and techs at Saint Francis Hospital.

Jacque lived by her belief our purpose in life is to help each other.
