Jamie Leigh Meade (Wilson), 45, of Tulsa was called home on Friday, December 13, 2024.

Jamie was born in Tulsa on December 10, 1979, and graduated from Jenks High School in 1998. Her life's work consisted of taking care of people. She worked as a caregiver, a job coach for people with disabilities and most recently a substitute teacher at Bixby Public Schools where her joy was found with the Special Education kids.

Jamie had two outstanding children, Ayden Meade and Max Sublett. Her love for her children was a source of great delight and pride. She loved spending time with her children on the phone or together. She and Max would spend time fishing and going to garage sales. Her greatest joy was seeing her children happy and striving toward a great future.

Jamie was a free spirit who always had a smile on her face. Anyone who met her got a nickname and felt the deep love she had for all people. She loved without abandon or prejudice and exuded warmth, love, happiness and joy.

Jamie is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, A.C. and Roxye Wilson, and maternal grandparents, Jay Swart, Sallie and Herbert Olson, and uncle Ronald Wilson. She is survived by her children, Ayden and Max, her mother Pamela Wilson, father and stepmother Patrick and Brenda Wilson, her sister Tracey McCalman (Hayden), nephews Brooks and Harrison McCalman, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her last gift was an organ donation to two complete strangers, a testament to her giving and loving nature.

There will be a celebration of life at Stanleys Funeral Service on December 20, 2024, at 2:00pm.
