Obituary

Jane Keller Wilcox, age 66, died peacefully on Thursday, September 28. Born October 12, 1956, in New York City to Irving Charles Keller and Ernestine Downey Keller. Jane grew up in New Jersey, Memphis, and finally Tulsa, OK, where she graduated from Edison High School. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard (Phil) P. Wilcox Jr. after 30 years of marriage; and her brother, Steve Keller. She is survived by her children, Rick and Jennifer (Landon); granddaughter, Rose; brothers-in-law, Mike (Julie) and Tim; sisters-in-law, Vicki and Stephanie; nephews, Michael, Garrett, Stefan, Nick, Braden, Stephen, Kristopher; and niece, Haley.

Jane and Phil met at Oklahoma State University and were married in Tulsa where they lived. She was a longtime member of Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church, was a docent at Philbrook Museum of Art, and a Hospice Volunteer. She was passionate about animal rescue and adopted many dogs in need. She enjoyed creating lasting memories for loved ones through cooking and entertaining. When she wasn't taking her kids to soccer and gymnastics practice, she loved planning family vacations to places like Florida, Michigan, and the Caribbean.

A memorial service will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., October 7, at Christ the Redeemer Church at 2550 E 71st St. in Tulsa.
