John Joshua Hudson, age 54, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away on April 16, 2026.

Joshua was born on November 12, 1971, in Inglewood, California, to Homer John Hudson and Patricia Dawn Gladhill.

Joshua attended Union High School and later earned his certification in HVAC engineering. He was a dedicated employee of Hobart Corporation, where he specialized in the maintenance and repair of commercial restaurant appliance equipment and was known to his coworkers simply as John.

Josh enjoyed playing World of Warcraft, where he built lasting friendships with people across the country. Some of his most cherished moments were spent gaming alongside his sons, creating memories and sharing laughter together.

He also loved hosting game nights centered around Catan, a pastime that brought him great joy—especially when his boys joined him around the table.

Josh enjoyed dining out, particularly for sushi, playing pool, and relaxing with a few drinks in the company of family and friends.

He deeply treasured the time he spent with his sister, Lory, staying connected and sharing stories about their children.

Joshua is survived by his sons, Matthew Hudson (27), Daniel Hudson (25), and Luke Hudson (19); his siblings, Lory Jones and John Robert Hudson; and his parents, Homer John Hudson and Patricia Dawn Gladhill.

Joshua was preceded in death by his eldest brother, Timothy John Hudson.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at George’s Pub, 108 N. 1st St., Jenks, Oklahoma 74037.
