Obituary

Jordan Tyler Elam passed away on February 3, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 43. He was born in Houston, Texas on July 26, 1981 and spent his early years in Tulsa and Corpus Christi, Texas. He graduated from Cascia Hall in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Jordan was known for his warmth, charisma, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life. His infectious laughter, genuine kindness, and natural ability to engage in thoughtful conversation made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was a trusted friend, a devoted husband, and a dedicated father, whose presence brought joy and comfort to those around him.

A lifelong lover of music and sports, Jordan found meaning and community in both. Music, in particular, was a defining part of his life. Music was his religion, his literature, and his passion that guided him. It was a fundamental cornerstone of his connection and his relationship with his family and friends. He approached life with an effortless sense of style and individuality, blending sophistication with an unmistakable authenticity that made him truly one of a kind. A dear friend once described his style as "country club hipster," a designation that Jordan proudly embraced.

Jordan was preceded in death by his sister, Jentry Elam and mother, Judy Carlton. He is survived by his father, Coach Jim Elam, his sister, Cayse Nick, his wife, Chelsey, and their three beloved children, Wilder (8), Huck (5), and Harriet (5).

Jordan's legacy lives on through the love he shared, the memories he created, and the many lives he touched.
