Our family is heartbroken over the loss of our beloved grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.  J.W. Treadwell passed from this life unexpectedly of November 5, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 39.

He was born on June 9, 1980 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  J.W . grew up in Berryhill, Oklahoma and graduated from Berryhill High School in 1998.  He also attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

J.W. had the biggest heart and gave the most amazing hugs.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, golfing, sporting events, traveling and gambling.  J.W. was a avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the University of Oklahoma sooners Football teams.  He loved his family and friends who were like family fiercely.  He was loyal, generous and always there when he was needed.  The loss of J.W. will leave a huge void in many lives.  He had numerous cousins who were more like siblings.  J.W. was a a loving son to his father and mother who are now joined together in his passing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Treadwell; mother, Carrie Treadwell; grandmother, Joyce Andrews and grandfather; Willie Treadwell.  J.W. is survived by his grandfather, Don Andrews; grandmother, Thelma Treadwell; brother, Danny Childers; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family members and friends.

Everyone attending the service is encouraged to wear Dallas Cowboys or Oklahoma Sooners gear to honor J.W. and really tie the room together.
