Katherine "Katy" Brocksmith of Tulsa, OK died January 19, 2023, at the age of 72.  Katy was born November 14, 1950, in Tulsa to Dr. Henry A. and Betty Brocksmith.  A graduate of Tulsa University, BA Zoology, and Oklahoma State University, BS Electrical Engineering, she worked as a medical technologist, computer technician, and RF engineer.  She was a member of the German American Society, Day Lilly Society, and Tulsa Iris Club.  She was an active equestrian and competitive fencer.  She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Jonathon Brocksmith, Tulsa; sister-in-law Sandra Brocksmith, Tahlequah; and close family friend Brian Stone.  She is survived by her former husband and forever friend Doug Markham, Tulsa; brothers Edward, Tahlequah, OK and Richard and wife Lea, Tulsa and sister Martha Brennan, Cleveland, OH.  A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM, Thursday, January 26, 2023, in Stanleys Chapel.
