Kathryn Earlene Rountree, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on January 19, 2025. She was born on September 22, 1933, to Samuel William Earl May and Dorris Irene Kauffman.

Kathryn is survived by her daughter, Cindy Barnes, and her husband Steve; grandsons Shawn Barnes and his wife Andrea, and Dr. Chris Barnes and his wife Alisha; and great-grandchildren Laynee Barnes, along with triplet boys Bruce, Brody, and Boaz. She also leaves behind her beloved sister-in-law Earlene May, niece Camie and her husband Keith Smith, nephew Brad May, and her dear best friend Glenda Davison.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Edward Rountree, and her son Douglas Rountree. While her passing leaves a great void, her legacy of love, warmth, and devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of the many lives she touched and all who knew her.
