Kenneth Russell McLane

Kenneth Russell McLane, 78, of Tulsa,Oklahoma passed away unexpectedly on August 21, 2026, at home.

Born on July 21, 1948, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ken was the beloved son of Russell McLane and Pearl McLane. He spent his life as a disabled military veteran of the US Army and received a Purple Heart.

Ken will be remembered for being a pet lover especially for rescuing dogs and owing many female German shepherds. He especially enjoyed gardening and/or doing yard work owning excessive lawn mowers, he especially loved the iris flower due this reminding him of his late mother and was always up for tomatoes and watermelon from the garden with loads of salt. One of Kens most favor traditions was his annual trip to meet up with his Vietnam vet buddies especially seeing Malcolm and occasionally bring his daughters. Furthermore, Ken was a man of few words but would show up for anyone in need and was food driven he loved to share a meal at any locate restaurant and take excessive desserts to go-to.

Ken is survived by Cathy McLane, children Janet McLane, Lucy McLane, Nancy McLane, and eleven grandchildren, siblings John McLane, Melinda McLane, Fred McLane and many close friends. He was preceded in death by late daughter Julie McLane, late son Brian McLane and late brother Dan McLane.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ken's life at Stanleys Funeral & Cremation Service on September 25th at 1:00 p.m. at 3959 E 31st St, Tulsa OK 74135.

Kenny will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
