Lillie May Page, 84, formerly of Sandoval, Illinois passed away at 5:11 p.m. Saturday, August

20, 2022, at her home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Graveside services are pending but will be held at Hillcrest

Cemetery in Centralia, Illinois celebrating Lillie's life.

Lillie was born on October 26, 1937, in Sandoval, Illinois, the daughter of Fredrick Harmon

Overbeck and Ethel May (Yates) Overbeck.

Lillie had an adventurous life. Among some of the many jobs Lillie had included working as a

telephone operator on the old switchboards, Kas Potato Chip company, a teacher at St.

Lawrence Catholic School, and at Wheaton's Plastics from where she retired. She was a den

mother for Cub Scouts, a Senior Regent for the Moose, a member of the Happy Hearts Quilt

Guild in Salem, Illinois, and a passionate lifetime learner earning her Bachelor's degree from

SIU, Carbondale. Lillie loved to travel and a major accomplishment was visiting all 50 states and

Thailand. She was enthusiastic about National Parks visiting all she passed on the roads

throughout the United States. After her retirement, she worked in the Black Hills National Forest

at Custer State Park's Sylvan Lake Resort and Store for several years. She was an obsessive

reader and enjoyed bowling and craft projects. She was also a loyal fan of the St. Louis

Cardinals keeping her own stats on lined notebook paper.

Lillie is survived by her two daughters: Helen Beth (Charles) Davis of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

and Linda Diann (Page) Hohmeyer of Carlyle; grandchildren: Brittany (Jacob) Potter of

Centralia, Melissa (Adam) Gebke and Alexander (Kortney) Hohmeyer of Carlyle, Eric (Piper)

Davis and Stephanie Davis of Pleasant Grove, Utah, David (Megan) Davis and Stephen Davis

of Kansas City, Missouri, Kelly (Ryan) Cole of Coweta, Oklahoma; Tyler (Sarah) Tibbs of West

Frankfort; great-grandchildren: Brooke Kleiboeker, Jackson Kleiboeker, Kaleb Kleiboeker,

Karson Kleiboeker, Wyatt Gebke, Callie Mae Gebke, Ryan Hohmeyer, Juri Davis, Yuna Davis,

Yuri Davis, Brooklynn Davis, Olivia Davis, Grayson Cole, Lillie V Cole, Michael Ideker, Mickinlee

Ideker, Patrick Tibbs, Jordyn Lillie Tibbs. Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, her sister,

Mary Katherine (Overbeck) Lyons, her brother-in-law, C.M. (Jim) Lyons, several nephews, and

her oldest child Richard Joe Tibbs Jr.
