Obituary

Linda Sue LaGrone peacefully passed from this life on December 21, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 77.  She was born on October 21, 1946, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Clifton Hugh Richardson and Wanda LaDoris (Harvey) Richardson.  Linda was raised in Tulsa and became a bank teller at First National Bank right out of high school.  In 1967, she married Craig LaGrone, Sr. and they had three children together.  Linda and Craig were married for 27 years before divorcing in 1995.

Once Linda became a mother, she left banking to be a full-time mom and homemaker.  She doted on her three children and gave them a beautiful childhood filled with wonderful memories.  Whether she was baking her famous strawberry cake, sewing matching bows for the girls, or planning yearly trips to Silver Dollar City, Linda stayed busy caring for her family and enjoyed every minute of it.

After her kids grew up, Linda returned to her job at F & M Bank and worked there for 20+ years before retiring in 2015 to be a full-time grandma. Lovingly referred to as "Nanny," Linda adored her six grandchildren and spoiled them rotten.  She and her grandkids loved to watch game shows together, read before bed and play the "Hot and Cold Game."  Linda left her grandchildren with beautiful memories just as she did with her children.

Positive, selfless, kind, loving, and God-fearing were just a few words that could describe Linda.  She was a proud mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister.  Linda left this earthly world too soon, but those who love her can find peace that she is rejoicing in Heaven with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Wanda Richardson and her former husband, Craig LaGrone, Sr.  She is survived by her three children; son, Craig LaGrone, Jr., and wife Deborah; daughter, Cammie LaGrone Trammell, and husband Hill; and daughter, Canon Lynn Bomer and husband Luke; six grandchildren, Jaxon LaGrone, Halo LaGrone, Reynolds Trammell, Sutton Trammell, Colton Bomer and Graham Bomer; three brothers; Jack Richardson; Marvin Richardson and wife Debbie; and Dennis Richardson and wife Shirley; and numerous other family members and friends.  Linda was loved by many and will be missed by all.
