Madonna Gaye Green was born on August 17, 1936 in Vernon, Texas and died April 1st, 2018, at 81 years, 7 months of age after a long battle with cancer.  In her final month of life, she resided at Cleveland Manor Nursing Home, however previously remaining in her home and welcoming guests for the longest time possible.

Donna spent her early life growing up on a west Texas oilfield lease where her father was a pumper for the Gulf Oil Company, and later moving to her home in Skellytown, Texas.  After attending first through eighth grades in Skellytown, she attended and graduated from White Deer High School in 1954 where she was a member of the National Thespian Society, Softball and Volleyball teams, was Library Club president,  recipient of the American Legion Certificate of School Award  and Salutatorian of her senior class.  It deserves mention that she played baseball with her dad, practiced in the back yard with her sons and remained a fan of the game all of her life.

After moving from west Texas to Cleveland, Donna was active in the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, First Baptist Church, was a Cub Scout Den mother, then later a loyal supporter of her sons' progress in achieving their Eagle Scout awards, sports and band events.  She volunteered for church and school events of all kinds and was very active in the social life of her community.  She was employed as a teller for First National Bank of Cleveland and a retail sales clerk for the Palace Drug Store.

Her hobbies included traveling, bowling, reading, painting, crafts of almost any kind, collecting "things", picking up pecans, and word-finds.

Donna is survived by two sons, Ed Green and wife Cyndi of League City, Texas and Phil and wife Lori of Verdigris, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Lillie Eubanks and her brother, Robert Eubanks.

A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Cleveland on Saturday, April 7th at 2:00 P.M., officiated by Rick Burke, Sr. Pastor of CedarPoint Church, Claremore, OK.
