Margaret Anne "Peggy" Griffith passed from this life on August 22, 2025, at the age of 81.  She was born on March 15, 1944, in Ames, Iowa to Eugene and Dorothy (Cole) Griffith who preceded her in death.  Peggy loved her family and her dogs, specifically cocker spaniels, of which she had many.  Most of all, Peggy loved teaching and children.  In her early years as an educator, she taught at Holy Family School then went on to spend the rest of her time teaching at Marquette.  Peggy adored the students, parents, faculty and Pastors there.  Preparing children for the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion were special joys to her.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Katharine Griffith; sister, Dorothy Griffith, and the staff of The Grove at Midtown and Seasons Hospice, who became like family to Peggy.  She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
