Margaret Morrow Pray was born in Tulsa on July 6,1932 to Maude Andrews Morrow and Thomas W. Morrow and was baptized by Dr. Kerr at First Presbyterian Church. She went to Barnard Elementary School, Horace Mann, and graduated from Central High School as a member of the "Nifty Class of '50."

Margaret attended the University of Oklahoma for a year and pledged Tri Delta.  She then transferred to the University of Tulsa and earned her associate's degree as a Legal Secretary. She married her high school Sweetheart, Don Pray, in 1953. He graduated from college, joined the Air Force and the two moved to Phoenix. After his military service was over, they lived in Houston, Ponca City, and ended up in Oklahoma City, where she worked in the legal department at Conoco Oil Company so Don could attend law school.

They returned to Tulsa in 1963, where she joined the Junior League, reconnected with childhood friends, and had two daughters, Melissa (Steve Easterling) and Susan (Bo Rainey). After their divorce, Margaret worked at Holland Hall from 1978 to 1985 and later transitioned to real estate in the 1990s, first working with Prudential Properties and then McGraw Realtors. Real estate was truly her calling, and she remained an active realtor well into her eighties.

Perpetually beautiful and impeccably dressed, Margaret never stopped dropping off small gifts and sending notes to friends. She wanted people to know that they were special, and she was happy to have them in her life. Often on the phone with friends for hours, Margaret refused to get call waiting because she thought it was rude to interrupt someone while they were talking.

Margaret made us laugh. She had a great sense of humor, enjoyed a wicked joke, and was always up for a celebration. She was very social and enjoyed parties and get-togethers of all kinds. Margaret loved playing bridge, her Bookies book club, and attending the Ballet, the Philharmonic and the Symphony. Margaret also loved the Sooners and rarely missed an OU Football or Softball game. Most Saturday mornings she would be first on the family text string to send out a "Boomer!"

More than anything, she loved her family. Her grandchildren, Libby Easterling, Catherine Easterling, and Max Rainey "hung the moon" and brought her so much joy. Gaga knew all their friends and attended all their events.  She taught us, her daughters, to be caring, strong, and independent women. Rarely a week goes by without someone asking about her, saying "Your mom sold us our first house" or mentioning "She sent me the nicest note."

Margaret was a shining example of grace and beauty from an era where good conversation, civility, and service in the community was the starting point—the goal was spreading love, fun, and happiness to those she knew and met. We will miss her greatly.
