Tulsa resident Margaret Evans Stewart died at her home on April 17, 2023; she was 93.

Margaret (Moe) graduated from Holland Hall at Eight Acres in 1947 and received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in 1951. Her funeral service will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church on May 27 at 11:00 a.m. where she was a long-time parishioner.

Margaret married Charles Michael Stewart in 1953 and had three children: George Michael, Dorothy Jean and Mary Ann. Other than her family, her years as an Administrative Assistant at Tulsa Community College brought her immense joy.

She is survived by her children George (Amy) and Mary Ann (Philip); four grandchildren: Charles (Jessie), Evan (Lucy), JeanMarie, and Michael (Alyssa); and seven great-grandchildren: Kayleigh, Rhiannon, Eliza, Matthew, Aiden, Oliver and Frances. She will be reunited in death with her husband Charles, daughter Dorothy Jean; parents John and Gene; brother Raymond and sister Dorothy.

Margaret found particular enjoyment in the arts and in lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to either Tulsa Ballet or the Music Department at St. John's Episcopal Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
