Maria Roy, age 51, of Tulsa Oklahoma passed away peacefully at Hillcrest South Hospital with her loving family by her side Maria was a beloved wife to her husband George Roy.  Born to Maria Cedeno and Anastascio Pizarro, Maria graduated from Trumbull High School, Trumbull, Connecticut.  Maria was a loving mother, daughter, wife, sister, aunt, cousin, neighbor, and a friend.  There are no words for moments such as this.  When the unexpected happens, we all can take a step back to reflect on life.  The precious short fragile life we all have in an instant can change.  Life is about living, loving, and ultimately letting go.  Maria was a gentle loving soul who was always willing to put aside her needs for others. Maria was extremely creative, loved painting, baking, making custom jewelry and arranging flower beds.  Maria embraced life as well as her grandchildren.

Survivors included, her husband George Roy, her Mother Maria Cedeno of Bridgeport, CT, her loving daughter, Mckenzie Tanner and Alana Tanner of Oklahoma, Brother Jessi Pizarro of Shelton, CT, Brother Angel Pizarro of Bridgeport, CT, Sister Juana Arocho of Tampa, Florida,  Brother David Pizarro and Sister Grisele Pizarro of Bridgeport, Connecticut, step daughters Katelyn Roy and Francis Lester of NV, grandchildren Taylor Roberts, Emma Thomas and Aryana Thomas as well as many nieces, nephews and friends Grisel Lombard of CT, Linda Sambrano of OK and Michele Avery of FL that will dearly miss her.
