Marilou Burnett passed away on April 19th, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Marilou was born on September 25th, 1920. She graduated from Tulsa Central High School and attended Northeastern State University. In February 1942 she married Eugene "Gene" T. Pendergrass and they resided in Eureka Springs, Arkansas until Gene's death. They had three children and upon Gene's passing, the family relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Marilou was an owner of B.B. Auto Parks, Inc. The business was founded by her father.

In 1969 she married S.C. "Sonny" Burnett. Marilou was a long-time member of the P.E.O. and also First Christian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She helped organize her Central High School reunions for the Class of 1937. Marilou also participated in monthly luncheons with her high school classmates.

Marilou enjoyed quilting and playing cards with her friends but her favorite pastimes were shopping and having lunch with her family.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to Tulsa Historical Society or the Eureka Springs Historical Museum. She is preceded in death by George and Georgia Beebe, husbands Eugene T. Pendergrass and S.C. "Sonny" Burnett and Son, Thomas George Pendergrass. Marilou is survived by her daughters Luann Wilkinson of Dallas, Texas; Susan Finegan-Malmquist and her Husband John Malmquist of Tulsa; Grandchildren Lisa Coats, Paige Bishop, Traci Phillips, John Wilkinson, Shelly Lancaster, Sara Godsey, and Kelly Finegan; Great grandchildren Sealy, Benton, and Tucker Bishop, Denton and John Thomas Wilkinson, Sable Phillips, Lily and Lex Lancaster, Makenzi and Payton Bingham, and Georgia Salas.
