Marilyn Middleton, resident of Montereau in Tulsa, passed from this life on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the age of 81 years. Marilyn was born on January 23, 1937 in Shamrock, Texas to Philip G. and Mabel Clare (McSpedden) Middleton. She was raised in Waynoka, OK and spent her adult life in Tulsa then San Antonio, Texas for 30 plus years before returning to Tulsa two years ago. Marilyn received her bachelor's degree in mathematics from Oklahoma State University and is a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She worked for Skelly and Getty Oil companies as a Scientific Analyst and an Operations Research Analyst at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio. Since returning to Tulsa, Marilyn attended church at St. Johns. While living in Tulsa at Montereau, she enjoyed tap dancing and activities with Pi Beta Phi sorority sisters.
She is survived by her son Michael Wooldridge and wife Barbara of Tulsa OK, brother Phil Mack Middleton and wife Patricia of Albuquerque NM, sister Molly Harris and husband Richard of Enid OK, and many loving nephews and a niece. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Patricia Strecker of Carlsbad, NM.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, January 15th at 2pm in the chapel of Stanley's Funeral Service with Pastor John Rule of St. John's Episcopal Church officiating. There will be a second service in San Antonio, Texas held on Thursday, January 17th at 10 am at St. Mark's Episcopal Church.
