Mark David Nichols, 61, of Skiatook, OK, died at his home on Tuesday April 29, 2025.  He was born on July 8, 1963, in Wichita Falls, TX to Harold David Nichols and Ida Mae Byer.  He married Larrita Nichols on July 27, 2013, in Eureka Springs, AR.  He was a General Contractor and a shared owner of Standard Construction.  He started in the construction business as an early teen.  Over his lifetime, he became an artist of the trade and had a keen eye for taking something lacking and making it beautiful.  He had many hobbies and interests throughout his life but had little time to enjoy them during the last few years.  The business was doing well and his and Larrita's property kept them busy most weekends.  He was known for his for his deep gravelly voice and never left the house without his trademark accessory, his sunglasses, placed perfectly on top of his head.

Mark is survived by his wife Larrita Nichols of Skiatook, his son Mark Christopher Nichols, grandson Christoper David Allen Nichols, brother Glen Alan Gilpin and wife Loretta, sister Jackie Martino, sister LaRonda Kay Warner and husband Gary Warner, several nieces, nephews and many other children that he loved throughout his life.  He is preceded in death by his father Harold David Nichols, mother Ida Mae Byer, sister Peggy Nell Hader, and grandson Mavric Kamiron Nichols.

Services will be held Saturday May 31, 2025, at Skiatook First Assembly of God at 11:00AM.
