Martha Jane Terry passed from this life surrounded by loved ones on March 6, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 61.  She was born on October 20, 1957 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Herbert and Charlene (Ranson) Terry.  God's plan for Martha Jane was unique and blessed.  She was born and lived with an intellectual development disorder.  Martha lived at home with her parents until she was 7 years old, then moved to Hissom where she stayed briefly.  Her parent's discovered McCall's Chapel in Ada, Oklahoma and moved Martha there at age 8 and that is where she lived for almost 30 years.  Herbert and Charlene helped make McCall's Chapel what it is today.  It was a wonderful home for Martha and remains a safe place for others like her.  After Herbert's death in 1998, Charlene brought Martha back home to Tulsa and she lived in her home with her wonderful caregivers for over 20 years until her peaceful passing.  Even though she couldn't speak, she still spoke to everyone who knew her.  She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Martha Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Charlene Terry.  She is survived by her sister, Linda Waska; brother Mike Terry and wife Beverly; nieces and nephews, Holly Ray, Terry Waska, Cynthia Winters-Hilt, Robin Kneeburg; numerous great nieces and nephews; loving caregivers, Natalie Chandler, Kathy Cloud, Leah Blevins, Karen Hines, Lydia Tadele, Wonji Gebur, Evelyn Williams; the amazing staff at Cura Hospice; and many other family members and friends.
