Mary Joe Keatley passed from this life on July 7, 2019 in Enid, Oklahoma at the age of 99.  She was born on February 16, 1920 in Stonewall, Oklahoma to Charles B. and Eula Barbara (Lambert) Holland.

She was born and reared in a Methodist parsonage.  Mary Joe's father, Charles Holland, was a Methodist minister.  She was the youngest of seven children.  Mary Joe graduated from McAlester High School in 1936 and received her B.A. from East Central State University in Ada, Oklahoma in 1940.  She went on to receive her M.S in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma that same year.  On September 1, 1945, she married Ivan H. Keatley.  Mary Joe earned her Ed.D. in psychology from the University of Tulsa in 1963.  She retired from Tulsa Public Schools as the Director of Psychological and Testing Services.

Mary Joe was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ivan Keatley; and six siblings.  She is survived by her son, John Keatley; and numerous other family members and friends.
