Melissa Ann Williams, born on Saturday, October 8th, 1966, age 55, passed away Monday, November 8th, 2021, at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Melissa graduated high school in 1985. She went on to work in nursing homes, taking great pride in caring for those who could not care for themselves. Melissa was a strong and independent woman. She was hard-working and dedicated to anything she set her mind to. Melissa was an artistic spirit who enjoyed crafting, cooking, and spending time with her family. She created much beauty in this world and her light lives on in those who love her. A loving woman, with a fighter's heart, she will be deeply and sorely missed by all those who knew her.

Melissa was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald Dunahew and Wanda (Rushing) Dunahew. She is survived by her devoted husband, James Henry Williams, her loving daughters, Amanda Hastings, and Samantha Watlington, her loving son and daughter in law, Jimmy, and Christina Williams, as well as her pride and joy, her eight grandchildren, Donnie and Kyrie Hastings, Tristan, Tanner, and Tyler Watlington, and Jorgia, Suzie, and Aaron Williams.

Melissa's funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 17th, 2021 at 12:00PM at Stanleys Funeral Home, 3959 E 31st Street Tulsa, Oklahoma 74135.
