Michael Carroll
Miller
Jan 24, 1955 — Nov 28, 2021
Tulsa
Mike passed Sunday, November 28, 2021 at St. John's hospital. He was born
January 24, 1955 in Ft. Riley, KS to John and Sue Fowler Miller.
He graduated from Edison High School, attended OSU for two years, and then
finished up his Bachelor degree at Langston University at age 50. He had several jobs
in his early adult life, but after marriage and a child he settled into more serious
employment at CFS, Amoco, ONEOK, & finally ONE Gas.
Michael gave his heart to the Lord in 1995. He enjoyed reading the bible and
listening to Paul Wilbur's music.
Mike was a comedian at heart who kept his friends and family in stitches with his
quick wit and sharp tongue. Some of his best material came from watching a lot
of movies and being able to quote from them as needed. His two favorites were
Annie Hall & A Christmas Story.
One of the things he liked to do best was watch OSU sports, have a beer, and then
call his best friend to re-hash the details of the game.
Michael was also a music hound, he and his wife traveled to experience many concerts.
Steely Dan was his preferred band although Eric Clapton came in a close second.
Mike had a love affair with Mexican food and chocolate chip ice cream.
He is survived by Alisa Robertson Miller, wife of 26 years, whom he called attorney & interpreter,
his son Max of Tulsa, sister Marijane Miller of West Hollywood, CA,
sister Margaret Miller of Tulsa, in-laws Albert and Anita Robertson of Aqaba, Jordan,
brother-in-law Aaron (Brandy) Robertson, niece Chloe Robertson, and
nephew Daxle Robertson of Hillsboro, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents
John and Sue Fowler Miller.
