Nancy Jane Corgill's Obituary
Nancy Jane Corgill was born August 15, 1954, in Wichita Falls, Texas to Jack and Sylvia Tuttle. She passed away on August 10, 2018 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 63.
Nancy grew up in Tulsa and attended Memorial High School. On June 13, 1969 (Friday the 13th) she met who proved to be the love of her life, Richard (Rick) Lee Corgill. Rick and Nancy often joked during the years that followed that Friday the 13th was their "Lucky Day"
Upon Nancy's graduation and their marriage, Nancy and Rick moved to Stillwater for Rick to continue his education at OSU. Nancy worked many jobs to help Rick get through school. After his graduation they moved to Casper, Wyoming and Bartlesville before settling in Broken Arrow.
Nancy was known for her sweet and gentle way and for her love of family. Raising her two children, Julie and Matt Corgill, while supporting Rick in his career was her major focus during the early years of their marriage. She was extremely giving in so many ways as was evidenced after the birth of her grandchildren. She adored all three and the focus of her life was on enjoying the kids and being there for everything they did. But as was Nancy's way, that meant not just attending their activities but included bandaging a skinned knee and wiping away their tears when they had a bad day. That was their Nana and that's what Nana did.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Rick, who never left her side during her months in the hospital; her daughter, Julie Corgill and her children, Dylan and Jagger; son, Matt Corgill, his son, Noah, both of Broken Arrow, and Cori Corgill of Broken Arrow; brothers, Steve Tuttle and Tom Tuttle and their children.
