Pam created perfection with everything she did. She would go all in to learn as much as possible and then turn it into a masterpiece for others to enjoy. She would tell you that there was some issue with the final product, but seldom could anyone else see it. Her dedication and passion showed in so many areas of her life.

She spent many years involved in the peace and justice movement. This guided many things in her life making her an expert in conflict resolution and prioritizing people in every aspect of her life. Her volunteer efforts in local regional and national groups demonstrated her belief in the causes that were important to her.

As a Lifetime member, she was a Girl Scout for 45 years as a girl member herself and then leading troops for her daughters, her niece and many other girls. She organized many program events for girls and training for leaders. She attended national training sessions to learn more about the program and to bring new tools and ideas back to Oklahoma. Her fun and creative ideas and inclusive approach encouraged more people to participate and volunteer, all to help girls grow into strong women.

Another passion in her life was Ghost Ranch in New Mexico. Her friendly and inclusive ways made her a favorite campground host there for many years. She found great peace there and connected with so many people as she took a variety of art classes. Ghost Ranch is where she started learning calligraphy that would develop into another passion in her life. She would develop this talent into a personal business and become recognized as the local expert for the Copperplate font.

More recently she learned about Zentangles. Becoming a Certified Zentangle Teacher was a perfect fit allowing her to combine peace, teaching, fellowship and creativity into one activity.

Of course her greatest passion was her family. She gave so much to all of us as a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and cousin. She was a champion for her family, taking great pride in her children and grandchildren. She would do anything and everything to make us feel special and let us know how much she loved us.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30PM on Monday, April 17, 2023 at First Presbyterian Church with a reception immediately following.
