Patricia Irene Lane was born June 6, 1926, in Wewoka Oklahoma to Roy Willard and Bertha Sivage Parmenter, the youngest of 5 children. She passed away peacefully in her home on November 21, 2019, at the age of 93.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roger "Mike" K. Lane Jr.; parents, Roy and Bertha Parmenter; and brother, Elliott Parmenter; sisters,
Louise Dickey, Ruth H. Parmenter, and Jane Lee Cansler.
Patricia moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma graduating from Central High in 1944. Working in the oil and gas industry, Pat met her husband Mike in the lobby. She became the Operations and Sales Manager of Merle Norman at Southland Mall. She received a position with Kitchen Korner as an Office Manager where she remained until retirement in her eighties. Pat assisted Paula Unruh, campaign manager for Congressman Page Belcher. Later becoming a delegate at the 1968 Republican National Convention.
"Patsy", received Christ at 15, attending Roger Heights Christian Church with her sisters Ruth and Jane. She became a member of Eagle Rock International In 2007.
Patricia, always full of life, lived one, with a bright personality. The
most important part was loving and living for, her family. The family gatherings were the highlight. Of course, making sure plenty of pictures were taken. She loved to be with people and always had a pretty smile to welcome any stranger. She loved her chocolate, her Charlie perfume, and cinnamon gum. She always wanted to be sure her hair was done in the most current style and her nails. This awesome lady enjoyed bridge, dancing swing to Big Band Jazz and the Young Men's Club. Patricia said she looked good in any color but brown, wanting family and friends to wear bright clothes at her celebration of life.Those left to cherish her memory include daughter Kay and
husband Bob Dimmick of Tulsa, son Roger K. Lane III also of Tulsa.; Granddaughter Julia (Dimmick) and husband Caleb Bales of Waco, Texas; and Grandson Geoffrey Dimmick of Tulsa. Niece's: Susan and husband Mick Champion of Tulsa, Marylou and husband Dale Heiskell of Fort Worth Texas, Leslie and husband Keith McNamara of Tulsa, Barbie, and husband Gary Harger of Connecticut, and one nephew Dr. Bob Dickey of Oklahoma City. Great nieces: Dana Martin, Jennifer Champion, Melanie Champion and husband David Gorelczky, Shaylen Harger, and great-nephews: Matthew Dickey, Daniel McNamara, and Blake, his wife Karis McNamara.Daughter, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend, You
