Patricia Lucille "Patty" Massey peacefully passed from this life on September 18, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 74.  She was born on September 1, 1944 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Lloyd George and Betty Jane (Berry) Atkins.  Lloyd and Betty had four children in this union.

Patty had a hectic first few years, as her dad followed the pipelines which caused the family to move around a lot.  By the time she started high school, they'd settled in Cleveland, Oklahoma, where Patty graduated from Cleveland High School.  Patty married Billy Wayne Brown and had two sons, Ricky and Joseph.  She later married Marion Massey and had a third son, Robert.

After high school, Patty was privileged to attend the University of Tulsa and earn a degree in Speech Pathology.  She was very proud of completing this achievement, especially as a mother with young children at home.

She always loved to read.  Patty also loved music of all kinds and enjoyed dancing.  However, she was the happiest when she was doing for others.  Patty was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Patty was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Atkins; sister, Linda Johnson; and son, Ricky Brown.  She is survived by sons, Joseph Eric Massey and Robert Eugene Massey; stepson, Michael Massey; mother, Betty Atkins Bay; sisters, Judy Wade, Betty Fiarrias, Tammy Williams and Pam Rush; brother, George Atkins; 2 grandsons; 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
