Patricia Ann
Mccune Clark
Dec 27, 1956 — Feb 26, 2023
Tulsa
Patricia (Trish) Ann McCune Clark died peacefully at her home in Tulsa on February 26, 2023, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma and was raised by Gloria Downs and Malcolm Murray McCune in the Frank Lloyd Wright Westhope house in Tulsa. Her father was a renowned Tulsan architect who worked on the Tulsa Driller, Utica Square, and Boston Avenue Methodist Church, which instilled a love of architecture that inspired Trish to draw floorplans from a young age. Trish was a beloved community member, amazing mother, dedicated philanthropist, and a wonderful friend. She had a deep and abiding faith that carried her through to the end.
Trish spent most of her life in Tulsa. She attended the University of Tulsa and was a lifelong seeker of knowledge. She was an avid reader and had an extensive knowledge of history and nature. She was an astute businesswoman and was the owner and operator of The Farm Shopping Center for more than 30 years, which was designed and built by her father. Trish developed friendships with everyone at The Farm and was loved by those who worked with her.
Trish adored animals and over her life cared for several cats, mostly named for famous Egyptian deities, and numerous dogs. At her home, she always made sure she had an abundance of food for the squirrels and birds, and loved watching the diverse wildlife that frequently visited her yard.
She is survived by her son, Michael Alexander Clark, his wife Vanessa McMahan, and her brother Mark Frederick McCune. Trish was loved by her friends and family and will be deeply missed.
A celebration of Trish's life will be held at Boston Avenue Methodist Church on March 8, 2023, at 2:00 pm, with a reception following the service.
