Patti Cooper
Morrison
Jan 28, 1949 — Dec 12, 2025
Tulsa
Patti Jean Cooper Morrison, 76, passed away peacefully in her home on December 12, 2025. Patti was born on January 28, 1949, in Tulsa, OK, and graduated from Edison High School in 1967. She attended Oklahoma State University and remained a devoted Cowboys fan throughout her life. For several years, Patti worked in the hospitality industry in Tulsa where she made many enduring friendships.
Patti was known for her intelligence, beautiful smile, and infectious laugh. She could find humor in any situation, a trait she passed on to her three daughters. The 25 years with her loving husband Charlie were filled with joy and laughter. Being animal lovers, their home was always filled with beloved pets of all kinds, and Charlie never knew when he might come home to a new animal Patti had rescued. Patti also loved music, and her musical tastes spanned many genres from Willie Nelson to Pavarotti. She enjoyed attending numerous concerts with her family over the years, and she always looked for any opportunity to have fun with the ones she loved. Patti was also a very proud and devoted Grandma to her grandsons Michael and Matthew, and she never missed a chance to spend time with them or cheer on their accomplishments.
Patti is preceded in death by her parents Winston Cooper and Frances Reynolds, stepfather Joe Reynolds, brother R. Casey Cooper, and nephew Christopher Cooper.
Patti is survived by her beloved husband Charles Morrison of Tulsa; daughters Christine Hancock and husband John of Bixby, OK, Andrea Akeroyd and husband Mike of Orlando, FL, and Allyson Wokoun and husband Davis Light of Tulsa; grandsons Michael Hancock and Matthew Hancock and wife Caitlin of Bixby; brother Michael Cooper and wife Eunju Chang of Tulsa; sister-in-law Irene Cooper and niece Kimberly Cooper of Tulsa.
Services will be held Monday, December 22, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Stanleys Funeral Home, 3959 E. 31st St., Tulsa, OK, 74135, followed by a light reception. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association or any animal rescue group. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Luminos Hospice for the compassionate care they provided to Patti in the final year of her life.
