Paul Dean Clayton, 82, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 30, 2023.
Paul was born on June 2, 1941, in Washington DC to Eugene Clayton and Imogene (Barr) Clayton. He graduated from Webster Highschool in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1959.
Paul loved and raised his daughter, Keeva, and three sons, Paul II, Bart and Brad, with his first wife, Karen. He provided a life full of opportunities and outdoor activities for his family.
Paul was in the service station business since he was a kid and was the proud owner of Ranch Acres Car Care. He spent his time at the station talking to patrons even after retirement. Paul loved his dogs throughout his life: Dolly, Doomus, Cat, Poon and Mia. He was known to take them with him wherever he went. Paul loved hunting, fishing, scuba diving, skydiving, telling stories and spreading his wisdom to anyone who would listen. Red roses, smiley faces and all things camouflage were the depiction of Paul.
Paul married the love of his life, Wanda (Krausse) Clayton, on March 31, 1987. After her passing, Paul ensured her memory lived on through him.
Paul is preceded in death by his wife Wanda Clayton, parents Eugene and Imogene Clayton, Jim Clayton, Carrol Hathaway.
Paul is survived by his brother, John Clayton, and children: Keeva Clayton, Paul Clayton II, Brad Clayton, and Bart Clayton. 13 Grandchildren include: Amber Massotto, Sam Kater, Bartlette Clayton, Amy Kater Darci Lyons and husband Jack, Dylan Clayton, Martin Clayton, Ben Bozworth, Devin Clayton, Alex Clayton, Cory Clayton, Deana Nance and husband Ethan, and Eli Clayton. 11 great grandchildren: Clayton Cooper, Brandon Chase, Mya, Jace, Jonathan, Barron, Wesley, Ellie, Jack Jr., Livi and Luke and a host of family and friends.
We will all miss you, Papa, but we rejoice that your suffering is over, and are at home with your Wonder and Your Lord and Savior.
