Percy A. (Sonny) Taylor Jr.

Passed away on December 22, 2019.

Sonny was born on May 6, 1939 in Hominy, Oklahoma to Percy A. Taylor Sr and Nellie (Dobbins) Gourd.

He served in the United States Navy from 1956-64, aboard the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt Aircraft Carrier.

Sonny married Dee and had a son Patrick Allen Taylor.

Sonny is preceded in death by his father Percy A. Taylor Sr and mother Nellie (Dobbins) Gourd, son Patrick A. Taylor, and brother in law Jerry Towe.

He is survived by his sisters Gayle Towe of Inola and Lynnelle Carney, and her husband Larry of Tulsa.

Sonny was a member of the Kaw Nation Tribe.

His ashes will be placed at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
