Phyllis Dotson passed away in her sleep Tuesday, July 21st, 2020 in the company of her husband Raymond and her older son and his family.

Phyllis Jeanne Dale was born in Mountain Park, Oklahoma on January 2, 1925, graduating from Classen High School in Oklahoma City.  She graduated with a degree in geology from the University of Oklahoma and worked for Phillips Petroleum in Bartlesville until her marriage to Raymond Dotson in 1957.  They subsequently lived in Shreveport, Louisiana; Berkeley Heights, New Jersey; and Buenos Aires, Argentina before moving to Tulsa in 1966.  After retirement she and Raymond enjoyed many Elderhostel trips.

Phyllis is survived by her husband of 63 years, Raymond, her son Bryan of Houston, Texas, his wife Jaqueline, and their daughters Melanie and Lauren; and son Neil of Kingsport, Tennessee, his wife Patricia, and their children Elizabeth, Daniel and Joseph; and several nephews and nieces, with niece Marsha Grindle and her husband Scott living nearby.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed greatly by her family, and who passed on her love of music, birding and reading to many of the family.
